Greentech Media has announced the launch of its 2009 Solar Research Service, designed to deliver the most detailed and comprehensive market data on the entire solar supply chain. This new service builds on Greentech Media's successful published line of research titles and adds a rich menu of advisory services to provide a complete package of analysis for the 2009 calendar year.

Greentech Media created the advisory service after recognizing the need for critical solar insight from experienced analysts with detailed knowledge of the industry.

The existence of the service will allow clients to receive exclusive and ongoing updates throughout the year with access to the newly expanded team of analysts, subscriber only Webinars and passes to Greentech Media's annual solar event, "Surviving the Shakeout: Greentech Media's 2009 Solar Industry Summit" in Phoenix, Ariz. on April 14 and 15.

While the new service will increase Greentech Media's clients' awareness of market intricacies and critical gaps, our research still provides the most in-depth analysis on the major global markets for solar worldwide. Some of the titles coming out this year that are included with the advisory service are: "Solar Growth Series: Emerging Markets," "Financing the Solar Value Chain," "PV Annual Industry Survey," "CPV and CST: Technology, Performance and Cost," "BIPV: Market Outlook 2009 and Beyond," "Thin Film: Technology, Performance and Cost," and more.

In a continuing effort to strengthen its position as an industry-leading market research firm, Greentech Media has significantly increased its team of research analysts. Managed by Travis Bradford, President of the Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development and Adviser to Greentech Media, the company welcomes the following new analysts:

Shyam Mehta, formerly of Goldman Sachs, was a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs Global Investment Research where he covered equities in the alternative energy sector, primarily solar companies.

Roger Nauth, formerly of Accenture's Global Strategy Practice, where he was a senior consultant working on engagements spanning a diverse array of industries including energy and financial services. Prior to Accenture, Roger was a manager at Forrester Research.

Silvia Christel, based in our Munich, Germany office, will cover European renewable energy market development with specific emphasis on the solar industry. Silvia has a degree in economic geography from the University of Munich.

Daniel Englander, who has been promoted to Senior Energy Analyst, brings expertise in utility sector renewable energy economics, is presently the assistant editor of PV News, and the author of Greentech Media's "Future of Ocean Power" research report.

"Working together with Greentech Media over the past year, we have collectively delivered industry-leading research reports to the solar market," said Travis Bradford, President of the Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development.

"I look forward to working with an expanded team of Greentech Media analysts in maintaining and improving upon our respected reputation as a definitive source of necessary market research."

"Growing our team of research analysts to support our expanding portfolio of research products and services is critical to our corporate strategy," said Scott Clavenna, Greentech Media's President and CEO.

"The experienced team of research analysts we now have in place will be the foundation of many new research products and services to come."
