Yingli Green Energy Powers Tibetan Families with off-grid PV Systems

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company reports that its wholly-owned subsidiary Yingli China has partnered with Longyuan (Tibet) New Energy Company Limited ("Longyuan") to supply 22,209 sets of off-grid PV systems to families with limited access to electricity in Tibet.

In addition, Yingli China has supplied an extra 12 MW of PV modules for a Chinese customer who also cooperates with Longyuan to provide off-grid PV systems to Tibetan families. These modules are expected to power more than 48,000 families in this area.

"We are honoured to partner with our customers in China to bring solar electricity to families in Tibet," commented Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Yingli Green Energy.
