Urban Solar is pleased to announce the release of an all new solar lighting product line, the Streamline Solar Series. To meet the demands of a growing commercial solar lighting market for a compact and aesthetically-pleasing area lighting solution, the Streamline Solar Series is the first system in Urban Solar's lineup to incorporate lithium-ion battery technology. Lithium-ion batteries are long-lasting, recyclable and can be replaced by the user at the end of their life-cycle.

For parks, pathways, playgrounds and other open urban environments, the Streamline Solar Series delivers superior brightness and exceptional return on investment compared to a grid-connected solution that requires trenching and cabling.

In many cases, the Streamline Solar Series can be installed in minutes without the use of a crane or bucket truck. Immune to power outages and blackouts, standalone systems enhance public safety.

Adding bright, usable LED lighting to encourage evening and morning use of pathways, parks, trails and greenways has never been faster. Ensuring that public spaces are safely lit has never been easier.

As with all Urban Solar lighting systems, engineering and design assistance is available free of charge to ensure that clients only pay for the size of system their project requires. Site inspection services ensure that each install location is solar viable, and light plots and renderings allow Urban Solar lighting designers to size and position systems to deliver light levels that meet IES standards.

"At Urban Solar, we incorporate the latest technical innovations into our solar lighting solutions while continuing to offer the best reliability and performance in the industry," states Eben Lindsey, Senior Business Development Manager at Urban Solar.

"For both government clients and designers, including landscape architects, the Streamline Solar Series delivers an elegant but powerful solution to meet pedestrian-scale lighting needs."

The Streamline Series includes the following attributes:

+ Eco-friendly solar lighting requires no grid power
+ Installed in minutes without the use of a crane or bucket truck
+ High efficacy LEDs available in multiple distributions and color temperatures
+ Lithium-ion battery technology; user-replaceable batteries
+ 12W, 25W, 45W and 65W systems available
