Trackem Launches New GPS Business Tracking Platform
by Staff Writers
Brantford, Canada (SPX) Sep 28, 2022

Simultaneous with the Trackem platform launch is also the introduction of a revamped website at Trackem.com. Solutions Into Motion is also on the cusp of launching a new redeveloped consumer GPS tracking app for its consumer facing brand WhereSafe GPS.

Trackem GPS has officially launched its latest version of its client facing GPS tracking platform. The software launch has been 18 months in the making, for the 18-year-old business GPS fleet tracking company. The tall task of client migration has begun and is expected to be ongoing for a number of months ahead.

Trackem's new software platform was built to deliver on three main principles, a simple user interface, functionality that clients need and scalability for future development. "Our greatest value proposition to our clients has always been that the Trackem interface is simple to understand and offers the features that small, medium and larger businesses need," says ConradGalambos, President at Trackem GPS.

"This new platform goes even further to provide the industry's best user experience, with powerful new functionality to meet the demands of today's fleets and economic challenges."

The timing of the launch comes during a period of extreme fuel price increases, which is gouging into the bottom lines of any company that relies on fuel burning fleet vehicles or equipment. GPS tracking can have significant benefits for companies looking to gain efficiencies in terms of fuel consumptions across their fleet. Trackem's new GPS tracking software provides new functionality to address this growing issue.

The new system offers features to monitor fuel bills and overall fleet fuel expenditure, plus mileage analysis and driver scorecards. Driver scorecards help to identify drivers with habits of fast acceleration or speeding, which contribute to excessive fuel burn.

This information can be used for training or disciplinary purposes. Detailed reports can help identify a number of areas in the fleet that can be optimized for fuel efficiency. To add to this, the new Maintenance section can help keep fleet managers or business owners up to date and vehicles maintained to optimize fuel economy.

The software has been built to be able to accommodate various IoT hardware. Trackem will begin testing and exploring ways to integrate BLE sensors, dash cams, WiFi trackers, and other sensors and accessories.

"Our clients are often asking us about functionality or hardware that we don't offer. Our new platform will allow us to say yes more often and provide innovative solutions to more clients, on the fly," says Galambos.

The New Trackem platform offers new fully customized dashboards for a one stop spot for a snapshot of fleet or driver specific mileage, fuel, fleet efficiency, job hours and more. Available data for clients has been upgraded, so users can now access 6 months of history versus 90 days on the legacy system.

The new system also has upgraded its mapping to use Google Maps, has driver messaging built in, provides forms for vehicle inspection, and muchmore. A new mobile App interface has also been upgraded with extra features.

Simultaneous with the Trackem platform launch is also the introduction of a revamped website at Trackem.com. Solutions Into Motion is also on the cusp of launching a new redeveloped consumer GPS tracking app for its consumer facing brand WhereSafe GPS.
