Washington (AFP) Oct 12, 2008 A strong, 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck deep under the southern Andean mountains in Bolivia Sunday, the US Geological Survey reported. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. The quake occurred at 4:55 pm (2055 GMT) in the Chuquisaca region, 515 kilometers (320 miles) southeast of La Paz, at a depth of 356 kilomters (221 miles), the Virginia-based USGS said in its report.
