Schueco is one of the world's leading suppliers of solar energy systems for residential and commercial buildings, and offers extremely efficient, high-performance solar thermal systems.

The company is supporting Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit housing organization dedicated to providing affordable housing to families in need. With fuel bills rising, many families are struggling to pay their utility bills.

Partly to demonstrate the effectiveness of Schueco's solar thermal technologies and partly to help needy families reduce their energy costs, Schueco is partnering with a local member of its solar installer network to provide a complete solar domestic hot water system completely free of charge.

Schueco is donating three Schueco Slim V collectors, a solar pump station and solar storage tanks as well as associated installation equipment.

The solar installer is donating its time to install the system. In addition, the Schueco sales and engineering departments are giving their time to help install the system. The result is a high-performance solar thermal system for producing hot water.

Habitat for Humanity is a globally active charitable organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing worldwide.

It builds and renovates simple, decent homes with the help of homeowner families, through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials.

Solar thermal technology from Schueco is the perfect way to heat water and generate cost-free power from the sun year after year.

Collaboratory Funds 12 New Solar Research Projects

The Center for Revolutionary Solar Photoconversion (CRSP) is launching 12 novel solar research projects totaling more than $1.1 million in its inaugural round of research and development funding.
