The deal with Balticsolar provides Solar Frontier with a significant presence in northern Germany.

"Solar Frontier's economical, ecological CIS technology and gigawatt-scale production capacity convinced us," said Alexander Hansmann, General Manager, Balticsolar.

"We are certain that the combination of our system planning and installing know-how and the expertise of the Solar Frontier sales and support teams are a perfect match. Through this synergy we will be able to offer our customers first-class service and leading thin-film solar energy solutions."

Wolfgang Lange, Managing Director, Solar Frontier Europe, said, "Balticsolar's performance in the photovoltaic segment is impressive. This long-term distribution agreement is a major milestone for Solar Frontier on its way to becoming a market leader. Our distribution agreement with Balticsolar is an important step in covering northern Germany. We are pleased that Balticsolar has placed its confidence in us, and we look forward to supporting them with our extensive expertise and know-how.
