Lisbon (AFP) Nov 20, 2010 US President Barack Obama said Saturday he had won "overwhelming support" at a summit with his NATO allies for a START nuclear arms treaty with Russia. Obama told a news conference that allies at a two-day summit in Lisbon agreed START was a "critical component to European and US security."
