L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) is partnering with Epirus to advance the efficiency of communication systems for the U.S. military and allied forces.

This partnership aims to integrate L3Harris' tactical communication systems with Epirus' advanced electronics to develop high-efficiency tactical radios. The primary goals include enhancing range, battery life, and heat management to meet the operational demands of modern warfare.

"We are proud to support the United States, allies and partners with reliable tactical communications required in demanding missions around the world," said Sam Mehta, President, Communication Systems, L3Harris. "The teamwork with Epirus will help further L3Harris' status as the Trusted Disruptor in the defense industry."

L3Harris' collaboration with Epirus is part of its ongoing strategy to incorporate emerging technologies, addressing the need for innovative and agile solutions that can be quickly deployed.

"We are pleased to take this important next step in our growing collaboration," said Andy Lowery, CEO, Epirus. "I have no doubt that fusing our expertise in advanced electronics and intelligent power management with L3Harris' well-deserved reputation will result in game-changing capabilities for our customers."

As a leader in resilient, secure, and interoperable communication systems, L3Harris continually invests in waveform, open-system, and security encryption development to maintain a technological edge over threats.

Epirus' RF transmitter technology improves device efficiency, allowing warfighters to operate longer without frequent recharging or replacements.
