HEMOS Technology Presents World First Remote Controlled Solar Panel

HEMOS Technology provides a solution for a growing problem in the industry: millions in losses from solar panel theft have been reported over the past few years with those numbers only increasing every year.

Leto Solar Corporation is presenting the exclusive world premiere of HEMOS Technology at this year's Solar Power Finance and Investment Summit in San Diego, California.

HEMOS is a groundbreaking new patent-pending technology that creates solar panels with remote control capabilities and features emergency shut-off, theft protection, and digital command execution all at the module level. The patented technology provides unique new solutions for the solar industry.

HEMOS Technology gives solar providers true control of the final deliverable, electricity. With HEMOS, suppliers of solar power can develop a business model closer to that of Utilities and provide the consumers with better safety, security, and financing options, especially in emerging markets. For investors of PV, HEMOS Technology will provide a safety blanket for better financing and leasing models.

The remote shut-off capability of HEMOS provides installers, homeowners, and even firefighters with safer working conditions when dealing with solar. Up until now, a solar panel has never been able to be turned off; with HEMOS Technology, they can work with modules even in rainy weather without risk of electric shock. In addition, the solar panels themselves will be able to be completely deactivated without any network connection, Wi-Fi or otherwise.
