Elsight's (ASX: ELS) Halo connectivity platform has been successfully integrated with the Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Indago 4 Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS), allowing it to perform beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) flights with increased capabilities and extended operational range.

Central to this integration is Elsight's Halo, a robust communication system that aggregates various IP links-public cellular, private cellular, satellite, and SDR radio. This ensures consistent connectivity even under challenging conditions. The Indago 4 can now offer dependable continuous connectivity, essential for tasks such as disaster response, surveillance, or remote inspections, transmitting video and data back to command centers effectively.

The addition of the Halo system improves the Indago 4's ability to maintain strong communication links over different landscapes, barriers, and distances, guaranteeing uninterrupted data transmission, including live video streams and vital telemetry.

"We designed the Halo to provide real-time situational awareness in tough defense and public safety scenarios," said Roee Kashi, Co-founder and CTO of Elsight. "Ultimately, field commanders need to make strategic decisions at any moment and should have the widest 'lens' possible with all the critical information. Now with our integration, the Indago 4 becomes the 'eyes' of any commander and the control center."
