Eight troops, contractor killed by Afghan pilot

Kabul (AFP) April 27, 2011
Eight international troops plus a contractor were killed in a shooting by an Afghan pilot at a training centre on Wednesday, the NATO training mission in Afghanistan said.

"Eight International Security Assistance Force troops and a contractor were killed in the incident," it said in a statement, without confirming their nationalities.

The statement updated a previous death toll of six international troops.
