Centrosolar Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of CENTROSOLAR Group AG, headquartered in Munich, Germany announces the release of the new T-Series photovoltaic modules, now available to Canadian solar developers and installers. Engineered in Europe and manufactured in Ontario, Centrosolar Canada's T-Series is designed for both residential and commercial applications.

"We are excited to introduce our T-Series PV panel to this market. Our popular S-Series, introduced last year, met the growing demand for renewable energy driven by the Ontario Feed-in-Tariff program. The T-Series furthers our commitment to continue making modules specifically to fit the needs of the Canadian solar market," said Centrosolar Canada General Manager, Bob Waddell."

The Centrosolar T-Series module, designed for optimum capture of available sun to generate very high yields of power, comes in two versions: 60cell and 72 cell. Both are designed to deliver reliable, peak performance and resist rigorous climatic conditions -including ice, hail, snow, storm, high humidity and the intense thermal fluctuation associated with Canadian weather patterns.

The Centrosolar T-Series 60 and 72cell modules are powered by monocrystalline and polycrystalline high-efficiency silicon cells, providing higher power output per module--up to 255Wp and 300Wp. Both modules provide unique advantages for specific applications, while reducing installation and balance-of-system costs.

"The high-performing T-Series PV modules are a great solution for our developer and installer partners who are taking advantage of the commercial-scale market that is being fueled by Ontario's FIT program," said Ram Akella, Centrosolar Canada's Joint President and CFO.

The new module features an anodized aluminum frame with pre-drilled holes for drainage and grounding. The modules are made with high quality materials, including top branded EVA and high transmittance glass for maximum durability and performance over the life of the installation.

One of the unique benefits of the Centrosolar T-Series is its certification to withstand hail impact and wind and snow loads up to 5.4n/m. The Centrosolar T-series comes standard with long side certified mounting and provides a tolerance rating of 0/+4.99W, which translates into more power out of the 255W and 300W module per DC wattage than other comparably rated modules.

The T-Series is also offered as part of Centrosolar Canada's CentroPack System. The CentroPack is the company's 'all in one-box' solar system, providing installers with a turnkey system, pre-packaged with all the components needed to install an approved residential or commercial roof-top PV system.

The CentroPack includes the T-Series panels, mounting systems, inverters, and all the vital electrical and other hardware needed. Site plans, wiring diagrams and mechanical and structural details are also available as required.

Going beyond designing the highest quality products in the industry, Centrosolar Canada operates a local warehouse located in Markham, Ontario, offering prompt delivery for their Canadian partners and the training, engineering and technical support they need for turnkey, seamless solar installations.

Germany not buying Greek solar project
Athens, Greece (UPI) Apr 6, 2012
Despite support from the European Union, a massive Greek solar energy proposal isn't a priority for its would-be German customers, a Berlin energy official says. After garnering strong support from Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos and EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger this week at an Athens conference on the $25 billion Helios solar project, the effort was given a cold should ... read more
