Trimble has announced that Carrier is rolling out Trimble's Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solution within its Carrier Commercial Service (CCS) fleet.

Carrier Commercial Service is currently deploying Trimble's GeoManager solution to increase field service technician productivity, safety and optimize the management of vehicles within its fleet for improved customer service.

"We are excited to work with Trimble to enhance our customer service delivery, augment employee safety, and boost our overall productivity," said Vince Valentin, director, Field Operations Building Systems and Services (BSS) North America.

"Carrier Commercial Service chose Trimble as its MRM provider due to its global coverage, successful track record with large-scale deployments and GeoManager's leading position in the market for devices providing on-demand performance, uptime and reporting."

"We are pleased to have been selected as the MRM solution provider for Carrier Commercial Service," said Rick Beyer, vice president for Trimble's Mobile Solutions sector.

"Carrier Corporation is the leading heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration provider and we look forward to providing Carrier Commercial Service with an innovation solution to assist in optimizing their business through superior service delivery."

Trimble GeoManager is an on-demand solution for MRM designed to streamline field service delivery operations while maximizing mobile workforce productivity and increasing customer service.

GeoManager provides businesses with relevant location, time-sensitive information they need to proactively respond to service delivery requirements in the field.

Information can include on-demand or scheduled reports that are designed to detail events and conditions in the field, regardless of geographic location or size of the workforce.

Trimble's GeoManager is also designed to continuously send field service data to back-office applications through application programming interfaces (APIs) or direct-data feeds. GeoManager is a scalable, enterprise-class, reliable, and secure MRM solution offered on a hosted software delivery model.
