Exousia Advanced Materials has announced that its biodiesel production facility located in South Carolina is currently completing the maintenance and re-tooling of the facility and will begin delivering biodiesel orders in August.

"We believe in biodiesel and see a bright future ahead in our sales. Domestic, clean energy production and the restoration of green collar jobs in America has to be a priority for us and for our government, especially in light of the current situation in the Gulf," said Wayne Rodrigue, Chairman and CEO of Exousia.

The biodiesel production facility is a producer of biodiesel, its production by-product glycerin, and has a 36-million gallon per year production capacity for biodiesel.

The biodiesel production facility produces to the ASTM / EN 14214 biodiesel specifications and is one of a handful of biodiesel facilities to produce to the European Union ("EU") biodiesel specifications.

The biodiesel production facility has been a member of the National Biodiesel Board and has taken great time and effort to become BQ-9000 accredited by the National Biodiesel Board.

Wayne Rodrigue explains, "The biodiesel production facility in South Carolina is an integral part of the overall investment we made in January when we purchased Evergreen Global Investments, Ltd. The facility was expected to open earlier in the year, but that opening had been delayed awaiting favorable Congressional action on a fuel credit. While we still expect that favorable action, the current demand for biodiesel has created a unique opportunity for the facility to open now. Orders are in place and will begin delivery in August."
