Antenova Adds Small GPS SMD Antenna For Embedded GPS Apps

Antenova has announced the addition of Brevis A10204 GPS SMD antenna to the gigaNOVA range of market proven surface mount antennas.

Designed for ease of integration into small wireless devices, Brevis GPS antenna is ideally suited for a wide range of embedded GPS device applications such as mobile phones, personal navigation devices (PNDs), PDAs, personal trackers/safety devices, mobile internet devices (MIDs) and plug-in accessories such as USB dongles, SDIO (Secure Digital Input Output) cards, etc.

Brevis A10204 is a high efficiency GPS SMD antenna which operates at 1575MHz. Brevis is a reliable, cost effective and higher performing option to larger, bulkier and more costly patch antennas, and is designed for use in all GPS applications where small size and near omni-directional pattern is an advantage.

Brevis A10204 is a small 3 x 22 x 3mm3 size GPS antenna intended for surface mounting and requires minimal ground plane. A10204 is supplied in tape on reel and available for volume purchase through Antenova's global network of leading distributors and agents.
