4th SpaceX Cargo Mission to ISS Dragon Scheduled for Sep 20

The launch of the next SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) has been scheduled for September 20, NASA said in a statement Saturday.

The fourth SpaceX cargo mission to the ISS will launch from space launch complex at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 2:16 a.m. local time [6:16 GMT]. The spacecraft will be launched into space by the company's Falcon 9 rocket.

If for any reason the launch is postponed, the next launch will take place September 21 at approximately 1:53 a.m. local time (5:53 GMT).

The Dragon will take over 5,000 pounds of supplies to the ISS, including food and necessities as well as scientific experiments, for example a 3-D printer.

Dragon is a spacecraft developed by SpaceX, an American private space transportation company.
