Falcon 9 Ready For Final Assembly At CapeCape Canaveral FL (SPX) Feb 11, 2010 SpaceX reportsthat all the flight hardware for the first launch of the Falcon 9 vehicle is now at the SpaceX launch site, Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40), in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Final delivery included the Falcon 9 second stage, which recently completed testing at the SpaceX test facility in McGregor, Texas. Beijing (AFP) Jan 17, 2010China launched an orbiter into space early Sunday, the latest stage in the development of its own satellite navigation system, state media said. The orbiter, launched at about 00:12 am (1612 GMT Saturday) was the third orbiter that China has launched for its Beidou Navigation System, Xinhua news agency said. Solar Dynamics Observatory At Launch PadCape Canaveral FL (SPX) Feb 10, 2010 The Solar Dynamics Observatory and its Atlas V rocket rolled out to the launch pad at Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The Tuesday morning move sets the stage for a liftoff Wednesday at 10:26 a.m. EST.
